Inland Empire Painting Contractor

Interior & Exterior Painting

Residential and commercial painting done the way it holds up: surfaces prepped properly, edges cut by hand, and a job site left cleaner than we found it.

Most paint jobs don't fail because of the paint

They fail because of what happened before the paint went on. Chalky stucco that never got washed. Bare patches that never got primed. Caulk skipped at the joints because nobody wanted to spend the afternoon on it.

In the Inland Empire that shows up faster than most places. South- and west-facing walls take brutal afternoon sun most of the year, and a coating that wasn't bonded properly starts to fade, chalk or peel while the paint itself is still well within its warranty. The material was never the problem.

So that's where we spend our time. Wash, scrape, patch, caulk, prime what needs priming, mask what needs masking — then paint. It's the least glamorous part of the job and it's the entire reason a finish lasts.

How the job runs

Our process

  • Walk-through and written estimate

We look at the actual surfaces, not a photo. You get a written scope listing what's included — prep, number of coats, which surfaces — so there's nothing to argue about later.

  • Protection and prep

Furniture moved and covered, floors protected, landscaping shielded on exteriors. Then the real work: washing, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking and spot priming.

  • Priming

Bare drywall, raw wood, patched areas and any surface with a stain or bleed-through problem gets primed. Skipping this is how you end up with flashing and uneven sheen.

  • Paint application

Two coats on most surfaces, cut in by hand at the edges. We use the application method that suits the surface — spray, roll or brush — rather than whatever is fastest.

  • Walk the job together

We go through the space with you and mark anything that needs another pass. It isn't finished until you say it is.

Questions

Painting FAQ

How long does it take to paint the interior of a house?

A typical three-bedroom interior runs two to four working days depending on square footage, ceiling height, how much patching is needed and whether trim and doors are included. Occupied homes take a bit longer because we work room by room so you can keep living there.

Do I need to move out while you paint?

Almost never for interior work. We stage the job so you keep access to a bathroom and a place to sleep, and we use low-VOC products for occupied homes. For a whole-house repaint on an empty house we can move much faster.

How many coats of paint do you apply?

Two on most surfaces. One coat only works when you're going over the identical color in good condition, and even then it usually looks thin. Deep color changes, bare surfaces or heavy repairs may need primer plus two finish coats.

What's the best time of year to paint an exterior in the Inland Empire?

Spring and fall are ideal. Summer exteriors are workable but we follow the shade around the house so paint isn't flashing off in direct 100-degree sun, which shortens open time and hurts the finish. We avoid painting surfaces that are too hot to touch.

Do you paint commercial spaces?

Yes — offices, retail, rentals, warehouses and shop interiors. Tell us your access hours and we'll schedule around your operation, including evenings and weekends when needed.

Do you paint kitchen cabinets?

Yes. Cabinets need degreasing, sanding, a bonding primer and a hard finish coat to survive daily use — it's a different process from wall painting and we scope it separately.
